So if you have only been keeping up through this blog. . . you think i never even had a baby! YIKES! So sorry. Sweet Asher Morris Smith made his appearance at 11:40p.m. January 13! It was a very adventure filled day! The name Asher means happy, blessing. This baby boy is certainly happy and he is a definite blessing to our family. He is adored by both of his big sisters. But I already knew how good they were at loving on a new sibling. Pace surprised me. Not because he loves him. I knew he would, but just how sweet he is to his "widdl bruddr" amazes me everyday. Asher will be 4 months old on Friday! How is that possible?
Sarah Joy also turned 9 last week. My children are growing up entirely too fast! Dance recital was a little early this year. It was Sarah Joy's 5th recital and her first year to have 2 dances. She is turning into a beautiful dancer. Andrew and I commented to each other that we thought this was the first year we were nervous for her. Not that we needed to be. She practices all the time, and she loves it so much. She was WONDERFUL!
It was Katie Grace's first recital. . . There were many "KatieGrace-isms" that we heard that weekend. One of our favorites was (with her arms full of flowers from family and friends), "You have to be an expert to have this many flowers!" She was so funny! When asked what her favorite dance in the recital was, she mentioned several, but the explanation of one was priceless. "I really like the dance of Aunt Summer's where she wears red gloves and the lady sings about her hair." (the dance was to a song called "MEIN HERR") SO funny!
Pace is growing up and turning into a real boy! I think right now his favorite thing is still "CARS" We play with Lightning, Mater, Sawge (Sarge) Serwif (Sherrif) Doc, Saldy (Sally) Ramone, Mac and Wingo (who says, "DJ, tink we got a naaader!) everyday! He also tells me stories of Lightning getting in the mud and helping Mr. the King. We are anxiously awaiting "CARS 2" releasing in June!
